Led by Dr. Joey Banks and Hayden Waskatko, PA-C, Basic Primary Care and Consulting works alongside your existing primary care doctor, not in place of them. It's where you bring the health questions that don't fit into a 15-minute appointment: a confusing diagnosis, a second opinion, a plan that needs someone to connect the dots between specialists. You keep your regular doctor. We add the time, the context, and the whole-person view.

Dr. Joey Banks, MD (she/her) With over 24 years in diverse healthcare settings, Dr. Joey views health as a lifelong journey shaped by daily choices. She helps untangle complex health questions, offers second opinions, and supports collaborative care with specialists and therapists
Hayden Waskatko, PA-C (she/her) A Missoula native and Certified Physician Assistant, Hayden believes meaningful healthcare begins with connection. Getting to know each patient's story and caring for both the physical and emotional sides of well-being is her specialty.
Both providers see Primary Care Consulting patients; you can request either one when you schedule.

“Urgent-ish” Care
For lingering colds, gynecological issues, contraception, travel advice, and more. When you can’t see your regular doctor, we provide whole-person, family medicine-style care.

"I have an urgent issue, like a UTI, vaginitis, cough, GERD, and more… but my PCP isn’t available today. Can I see you or schedule a telehealth appointment?" If I have an opening, I can assist with immediate concerns and guide you towards relief.

Ready to take the next step toward integrated care?
We can bill in-network insurance only. We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana, Allegiance, PacificSource, First Choice Health Network, Aetna, Missoula County Employee Benefits, Mountain Health Co-op, and Medicaid. We are not in-network for Medicare. For Clients with out-of-network insurance we collect payment day of appointment and can provide a statement, if desired. For Spravato in-network services we can currently accept, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana, PacificSource, and Aetna. Ketamine dosing sessions are out-of-pocket for all plans, except Missoula County Employee Benefits. If a service isn’t covered or you have out-of-pocket costs, you may also be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), when eligible.
