Insurance & Payment
At Inner Journey Healthcare, we want to make the financial side of your care as straightforward as possible. Below you’ll find information about the insurance plans we accept, private pay options, and ways to make care more affordable.
In-Network Insurance
We are currently in-network with the following insurance plans. If you have one of these plans, we will bill your insurance directly.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana,
Allegiance, PacificSource,
First Choice Health Network,
Aetna,
Missoula County Employee Benefits,
Mountain Health Co-op,
Medicaid
Spravato® (Esketamine)
Spravato® is an FDA-approved nasal spray treatment administered in our office for treatment-resistant depression. Insurance coverage for Spravato® can be difficult to access, but we are proud to offer in-network billing for this treatment through the following plans:
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana
PacificSource
Aetna
If you have one of these plans, we will work directly with your insurance on prior authorization and billing. Please contact us to discuss your specific coverage.
Ketamine Dosing Sessions
Ketamine dosing sessions (Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy / KAP) are a private-pay service for most insurance plans. Payment is due at the time of your appointment.
Exception: Clients with Missoula County Employee Benefits have coverage for ketamine dosing sessions. Please contact us to verify your benefits before scheduling.
Private Pay
We welcome clients who choose to pay out of pocket, regardless of insurance status. Private pay allows for greater flexibility and privacy in your care. Payment is due at the time of your appointment.
*We are happy to provide a detailed statement (superbill) upon request, which you may submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Out-of-Network Insurance
If your insurance plan is not listed above, we are considered an out-of-network provider. Here’s what to expect:
Payment is collected at the time of your appointment.
Upon request, we can provide a detailed statement (superbill) that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits.
We recommend contacting your insurance company ahead of your appointment to understand your out-of-network benefits and any reimbursement process.
HSA & FSA Accounts
If a service isn’t covered by your insurance, or you have out-of-pocket costs, you may be able to use a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover eligible expenses. Please check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility for specific services.
